Tonight Merwin Foard will take his final final bow (this time it really is his last!) in Broadway's Aladdin as he brings to life the villainous Jafar one last time.

Congratulations Merwin, it's been an incredible run!  Have a blast tonight and all the best for the future!

Aladdin Celebrates 600 Performances on Broadway!

Last night the cast and crew of Aladdin celebrated another milestone in their record breaking run at the New Amsterdam Theatre - their 600th performance on Broadway!

I just want to say a massive congratulations to the cast, crew and creative team on this incredible achievement!  Keep making magic everyone, here's to 1000!!

Call Her a Princess!

Normally I'd include this in one of my news round up posts but since I'm running way behind with those I felt this deserved its own post!

Today Courtney Reed will be performing at Broadway's famous supper club, 54 Below, in the Broadway Princess Party!  She will join a whole host of other stars, including The Hunchback of Notre Dame's Ciara Renee, Adam Jacob's sister Arielle Jacobs and Newsies Laurie Veldheer, as they sing their favourite princess songs!

If you're in New York today make sure you check it out!

D23? The Genie is Here!!!

Today is the first day of Disney's D23 Expo!  If you're there, I'll admit, I'm a little bit jealous!  Not only is it a full weekend of Disney magic, but you'll get to see this;

Yes, Disney Theatrical is back at D23 with another incredible concert showcasing the music of their Broadway shows - The Originals!  Disney veterans Josh Strickland and Ashley Brown will be returning to the D23 stage where they will be joined by Aladdin's own James Monroe Iglehart!  So if you only see one thing at the Expo tomorrow, make sure it's this!

Last time attendees were treated to songs from The Hunchback of Notre Dame (long before it's US premiere) and a special preview of "Somebody's Got Your Back" from Aladdin so you never know what teases at the future could be in store tomorrow!

Today I just want to wish a very happy birthday to Courtney Reed!

Courtney, thank you for all the love and support you've given Jane and I these last few years.  It's been an honour and a pleasure to see you grow as Jasmine and it's always a joy to see you on stage.  I hope you have a truly magical birthday!
